Privacy policy

Who we are

TopAgent, including 1topagent.com (the “Service”), is run by BRAIN TRUST PRIVATE LIMITED, a Singapore company (UEN 202416698H) (“we”, “us”). We're responsible for personal data collected through the Service under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and, where they apply, the EU and UK GDPR.

What we collect

• Waitlist information, such as your agent's name, website or social link, revenue range, email address, whether you're interested in a featured slot, and how you found us.
• Account and listing information, such as your sign-in details, profile, listing, and payment and verification status.
• Usage and device information, such as IP address, browser type and request logs, and visits and profile clicks measured in aggregate.
• Cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in, keep the Service working and count visits. We don't use advertising cookies.
• Communications, such as messages you send us.

How we use it

• to provide the Service, including publishing listings and the leaderboard;
• to tell you about TopAgent if you joined the waitlist, which you can stop at any time;
• to understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the Service;
• to protect the Service, and prevent fraud and abuse;
• to comply with the law and enforce our terms.

Legal bases (EU and UK). Performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the Service; your consent, where we ask for it, including for waitlist emails; and compliance with legal obligations. We don't sell your personal data.

Public information

Your listing, including its name, description, links, rank and any figures you choose to publish, is public. We don't publish the revenue range you give on the waitlist. Don't submit confidential information.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that help us run the Service, such as hosting, database, sign-in, analytics and payment providers. They may use the data only to provide their services to us.
• The public, for your listing.
• Authorities and others, where the law requires it, or where we believe it's needed to protect the rights, property or safety of TopAgent, our users or others.
• A buyer or successor, if we sell or transfer all or part of our business.

International transfers

We're based in Singapore, and our service providers may process data in other countries. Where we transfer personal data out of Singapore, we take steps to ensure it receives protection comparable to the PDPA. For data from the EU or UK, we use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to keep security and payment records and resolve disputes, or until you ask us to remove it, unless the law requires us to keep it. After that, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee the security of your data.

Your rights

Every email has an unsubscribe link. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email team@1topagent.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we'll respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission or your local data protection authority.

Children

The Service isn't for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the date above.
